He's back! The legendary hotshot comic book star Roy Of The Rovers has made a remarkable comeback, six years after his last magazine appearance in Match Of the Day magazine; Roy has been dusted down and will now be crossing the white line for fanzine Players Inc. In his prime, Race endured earthquakes, bombs and even had his leg chopped off in a helicopter crash. But you never heard dubious stories about him & Eddie Black doing inappropriate things with telephones or liaising with 200 year-old ladies of the night. The Daily Mirror's Nick Webster has written a hilarious account of how Race's diary might read if he was suddenly propelled back into a WAG infested Premier league 2007.
