Football - QPR have launched an investigation into a mass brawl during the club's friendly with China's Olympic team yesterday. The match at Rangers' West London training ground was abandoned when China's Zheng Tao was knocked unconscious. Referee Dermot Gallagher halted the game after the second-half incident and Tao was taken to Hillingdon Hospital with a suspected broken jaw. Rangers chairman Mr Paladini said: "We will conduct our own internal investigation into this matter. If any of our players are guilty of any wrongdoing then they will be dealt with accordingly. At this point in time, however, I really can't say any more than that. We are looking into what happened." One QPR fan, who claimed to have witnessed the incident, said: "There was claret everywhere. The Chinese Olympic squad is spending a fortnight at Chelsea's Cobham training ground ahead of next year's Games in Beijing. There was also a reported fight when the Chinese team played a Chelsea XI last week. "Some of our players need to learn to control themselves." said a Chinese spokesperson.
