Mountaineering

Off mountaineering this weekend in Snowdonia, and am hoping to be able to get to the National Mountain Centre in Capel Curig on the way out to try out some kayaking for the first time.

Will let you know if I sink or swim.

Anybody got any routes they can advise (or advise against) starting around the Capel Curig area?

I realise it's pretty spectacular and open.

Five of us going. Should be fun, and will post photos next week.
