My name is David, I am 28 and Live in New Zealand. I am an avid cyclist, riding anywhere between 100 - 200km's a week. My biggest ride to date was 160km around Lake Taupo on the North Island. This is New Zealand's largest cycling event and last year had 11,000 entrants! This year, I am in training for the K2 (a 200km ride around the Coromandle Peninsula), Taupo again and the Alpine Classic (a race from Queenstown to Wanaka, South Island, and back again via the Crown Range. Very hilly and extremely tough!!!!!
I enjoy cycling because it keeps me fit, gets me outside and is a sociable sport. Also, Auckland has some great rides and the views can be spectacular!
