Match of the Day in military shocker
If you saw Match of the Day on Bank Holiday Monday night you'll know what I'm talking about.
Some bizarre footage of two people landing a plane on a military strip or airstrip was suddenly inserted where there should have been an interview with Alan Pardew.
Peculiar.
Mind you, that's the problem with Easter weekend - there's too much sport and not enough expert analysis going round.
Take Sky - Saturday you've got Jeff Stelling and all the faces. The Monday version, it's Rob McCaffrey, Scott Minto and a bag of peanuts.
MOTD suffered a similar climbdown. Mark Bright will whinge until the cows come home, so who can blame the editor for slotting in a bit of a livener for the heavy eyelid brigade?
Certainly perked me up and infinitely more interesting than Shearer anyway.

Cricket World Cup bursts to life
Okay, so I exaggerate, but they might just give off some essence of energy when we face Sri Lanka this Wednesday.
Bizarre that the Windies have already played twice the number of games than us, but it's a format that has proved itself to remain exciting for long periods, and we'll certainly be in for a test in Antigua.
A win will certainly give the guys that last bit of self-belief that they still seem to be missing in certain areas, but then we only ever beat Australia at one-dayers, don't we?
