There is not much you can do about your bruised backside, accept keep cycling, it will go away and once it does it will never come back - as long as you continue to cycle. You possibly encounter another problem of bum rash - not disimilar in nature to a Daiper/nappy rash, generally you get this during hot weather and ill fitting cycling shorts, for that problem there are a bunch of anti-sceptic creams to rub on which will clear it up in a couple of days
