Crouch and his ripped snorter

Had to feel sorry for a somewhat dazed Crouchy on Saturday.

In the past though someone going off injured that early might have been a concern, but we seem to finally have a wealth of attacking options, despite naming something of a weakened side after the midweek European exertions.

A shame Robbie Fowler didn't get what would have been his first hattrick for the Reds since October 2001 in a 4-1 win at Leicester City.

A bit of criticism over Gerrard's first penalty, but if Kozluk puts his arm across then he knows what is coming.

All bodes well for the massive game against Man United next Saturday.
