About Emma
When I train, I'm able to process business/personal worries or simply switch into neutral, away from the pressures of everyday life and it's a need - to diffuse my abundance of energy.
Sport is integral to my life. I've been seriously into sport since I was in my teens but discovered too late my penchant for combat sports - you can only get a card up to 35 in boxing and I'm a so-called veteran now.
My work is sports related too, with a new qualification in sports massage therapy to add to the therapies I'm already conversant with and here I'm in my element because it's so aligned to my personal philosophy. Not only that, a good sports massage treatment, is akin to having a workout in the gym and my sporty nature means I can understand my clients propensity to overtrain, train through injury, the buzz of competing and the frustration when you're out of action through injury.
Plus I've grafted my love of sport onto my children. A job well done I'd say!
