Newsletter 3

Hi,

We have some free tickets for this weekend's Ski London Show at Olympia in west London. We will hold a draw for these for everyone who lets us know that they would like a pair by 4pm this afternoon. Please mail me through the site if you would like a free pair to this great winter sports event.

I'll be there, checking out the ice climbing wall and quater pipe.

It's been another busy week here as we continue to grow and we are hearing some great success stories from members finding teams to play with, new sports to try and things in common with team mates and opposition that they previoulsy had no idea about...

Lots new features and designs coming soon, including increasing the number of sports we have from 100 to over 300! Thanks for the great response from everyone about adding new sports onto the site.

Good luck with your sporting action this weekend and don't forget to come back on Monday and upload your photos, video and match reports.

Chris

T&T Newsletter 6th Oct

In this week’s newsletter: Win an iPod, upload your favourite sports videos, see us on TV and the latest features on the site.

Thanks for being one of our early members on the site, which is now growing fast so we are doing our best to make sure you have no problems and that we can add the features that you want and will enjoy.

After lots of requests we have started to add every niche sport to the site – so please update your sports list to include anything that you enjoy butmay have not been included when you joined. The list of the sports you play and enioy really lets other people know all about you.

We want to include every sport, so this week’s competition is the prize of an iPod to the member who can list the most sports that are currently not on the site! The more obscure the better, I’m hoping someone can get over 30..... Good luck, winners name in the newsletter next week.

Ahead of our own video player coming to the site soon, you can now upload your favourite youtube.com video to the site. Simply go to youtube and copy the ‘embed’ link into your own blog post and share the best and funniest pro (or your own) sporting clips with other members. From next week we will be putting the best one onto the homepage every day.

We’ve been on TV ourselves and I’ll be uploading our BBC appearance onto my blog later. If you fancy a laugh at my running style or can offer me some sound advice on how to improve, have a look and send me a mail.

We have two chances to win iPods stuffed with your chosen workout tracks each month. One goes to the winner of our monthly draw of new members and one goes to the member who has added the most buddies each month – so get your mates, competitors and opposition to join – you may get to win an iPod and we get the chance to meet more people into the same sports and stuff as us.

If you’re playing sport this weekend make sure you do something brilliant, that you can relive in your head all next week and make sure you come on the site on Monday and let the rest of us know all about it.

I’ve got an 18 mile run to look forward to this afternoon towards my under preparation for the Athens marathon on November 6th and a mid table crunch game of football tomorrow morning.

Good luck with your weekends’ endeavours.
