I´m a Chelsea supporter and, getting in my defence early, I have been for 25 years. So the glory-hunter tag hardly fits. I was there when we were the Boys in Blue in Division Two. A keen footballer myself, I played for Nottingham Forest Boys as goalkeeper. However, being 5´2´´ at the time was a hindrance so I switched to full-back. Having now shot up to 6´´, I continue to play in defence for a team in Gran Canaris. We´re a vets´ team, but considering you´re a veteran over here when you turn 28, most of us have got a long time to go before we start contemplating hanging up our boots. I also cycle to keep fit. Competition drives me. I hate to lose, but try and keep Rooneyesque tantrums to a minimum if I do.
