isporty TV features only the very best and most embarrassingly 'shocking' of your videos and photos presented by our great isporty TV presenters.

So who are our 'star' presenters? Firstly the almightly Gary Newbon, also star of 'you're on skysports' and top ITV sports man at seven world cups and seven olympics - want him commentiating on your great acheievments??

Next up is Rebecca Lowe, also star of Match Of The Day and BBC news 24 sport - want her interviewing you match side? and finally (and normally firstly!) is Jo Ankier - the UK's fastest woman over 3000m steeplechase and star of isporty TV.

So what are they presenting?

All your great video and photos - the best and funniest action and celebrations, have you got the WAG of the day? the best half time talks, great sporting pets!, best photos of you and a star, the best terrace chants, send in your own match and event reports - anything you think is brilliant or funny share it with your mates via your own profile and have it presented to the world of sport by Gary, rebecca or Jo.

It's official: "2012 Olympics will be rubbish"

Posted Feb 7th 2007, 12:50pm by Reiss Malone in isporty

Ed Warner, the first Chairman of UK Athletics has said that the British Olympics Association's claim that Britain will finish 4th at the 2012 Olympics, behind only USA, China and Russia, was complete and utter tosh. Speaking to Geoff Capes over cocktails and then dinner at The Wolsely, Warner was over heard by a waiter or someone saying: "They're living in crazy town, man. If we finish 20th, I'd say that was more realistic. Don't forget, Ghana and Luxembourg are taking this one very seriously." Capes, the ex-British Olympian shot-putter, was then seen to nod his head and reach for the bread-sticks. Warner's tirade continued: "You can't say 'We stuck in X million so we will get so many packets of biscuits off the production line' you know I'm right Geoff."

Capes was then overheard by a fellow diner who thinks she recognised him from Superstars saying, "Damn straight Ed, and where are these biscuits you talk of?"

iSporty wants to know 'what are the daftest predictions ever? Do you make predictions about your own performances? Do they ever go wrong? Do they ever go right?! Or is there someone at your club who's always winding people up with bravado and that kind of stuff? Comments and nominations please'

Ice Ice Baby

Posted Feb 7th 2007, 12:37pm by Reiss Malone in isporty

Britain's number one woman skier, Chemmy Alcott, has resorted to the unusual training regime of submerging herself in daily ice baths after work outs, in order to help her recover from racing faster. It's a method used by professional rugby players. "It's minus 16 outside," said Alcott as she prepared for yesterday's super giant slalom at The Alpine World Ski Championships in Are. "Straight after training I like to get into cold water. It's good for the recovery of the legs because it means they can't produce lactic acid. I have to stay in the water for 12 minutes. I even put some snow in to bring the temperature down." After a disappointing 28th place yesterday, Chemmy takes her lactic acid uncompromised legs to Friday's super combined event featuring downhill and slalom.

isporty wants to know: what's the most unusual training method you've ever heard of or, indeed, tried? Is there something that works for you that no one else, or very few other athletes know about? How about diet? Got any interesting suggestions cos I'm starving.

I have a mate who always gets someone to give him a nice slap in the face before a football game. He says it helps him focus on the game and play with more speed and aggression. Weird.

I tell you what i like the look of Chemmy Alcott v nice skier!

It's all gone dandy for Andy

Posted Feb 7th 2007, 12:32pm by Reiss Malone in isporty

Andy Murray has now reached the dizzy heights of being ranked 13 in the world. At tennis. The truculent, English-hating teenager discovered the news yesterday while training with his coach Brad Gilbert in California. Murray, who was donning a replica Spanish football shirt, eating paella and vigorously shaking a pair of castanets in preparation for tonight's game against England, said: "Obviously I'm delighted to leap-frog fellow youngster Novak Djokovic who's just six months younger than me, but I've not won a Grand Slam yet so won't be getting excited. Unless Spain beat England tonight in which case I'll go f***ing mental." Asked whether he would be trying to find a pub showing the Scotland B v Finland B game at Kilmarnock this evening, Murray said "Errr, hopefully, if The England match has finished."

isporty is looking for the UK's most annoying grass roots sports person. Is there someone at your club who just winds everyone up, has an opinion about everything especially when it's got absolutely nothing to do with him/her? Send in your nominations and comments and we'll do something to annoy them back.

i hate him he thinks he is better than everyone else and having Gilbert on board doesnt help his ego is getting out of control!

Nicely said Frank :) Who does he think he is anyway?

It is slightly ironic though that Henman was English and Murray is British! Andy has made it quite clear he can't stand the English and yet he still gets the meek middle-class support.

Ricky Fatton?

Posted Feb 7th 2007, 12:27pm by Reiss Malone in isporty

It seems it's open season on Ricky Hatton this week. First he had Floyd Mayweather Jr calling him lardy and threatening to punch him in his beer belly, and now another outburst from Britain's WBC Light Welterweight champion, Junior Witter. Hatton, according to Witter, has a problem with cakes and beer and unless they "get it on" this year, Witter is convinced that Hatton will be too out of condition to make the fight meaningful. "If Hatton doesn't step up now, then I think he'll go down as a bottler," said Witter. "He needs to grow balls and give everyone the fight they want." Blimey, first he's got Mayweather ordering him to buckle his shoes for him and now he's faced with a genital crisis.

isporty wants too know...do you know someone who managed to succeed in your sport while carrying on an unhelpful lifestyle? Is your centre forward always on the lash the night before a game? Or do you have some terrible guilty secrets that you want to share with us that have derailed your carefully laid training plans? All comments gratefully received.

Dr Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Posted Feb 7th 2007, 12:23pm by Reiss Malone in isporty

US business moguls Tom Hicks & George Gillett have had their £470m takeover bid of Liverpool FC accepted. Liverpool fans may like to know that Hicks is a close friend of President George W Bush, having funded two of his campaigns to become Texas Governor. He also owns Dr Pepper, 7 Up, Weetabix and NHL's Dallas Stars. Gillett owns Harlem Globetrotters and made his cash out of meatpacking. First on the agenda, apparently, is selling the name of the new stadium, putting seat prices up, and levelling Goodison Park so they can install a runway big enough for Air Force One to land on whenever George Dubya fancies a quick kick of soccer. Don't be surprised if Liverpool are soon running out at The Doctor Pepper Bowl to the strains of "Born In the USA" as President Bush, Condoleezza Rice and Dick Cheney lead supporters in a rousing pre-match prayer in which supporters are asked too "Calm down if you Hate Man U, Bin Laden, that Iran Guy, Kim Il Jong, those Syrian crooks, in fact anyone remotely attached to the Axis Of Evil."

It's not happened often lately, but today, I'm glad to be a Leeds fan.

iSporty wants to know, what does the Axis Of Evil look like in your sport? Is there a Bin Laden running your league, or is there a George Dubya type laying down the law at your club? All comments and nominations gladly received.

Money, Money, Money!

Posted Feb 7th 2007, 11:36am by Reiss Malone in isporty

It has been reported this week that the average annual income for a Premiership player last season was £676,000! We want to find out what the highest grassroots player is earning. If you think you could be the one please let us know!

That is sick, why do football players get payed so much? It is not like they are even doing anything special to save the planet. In fact, they are probably the biggest contributors to carbon emissions, jet setting around the world and driving their fuel guzzling cars. And no, I am not bitter, I just think this money could be used better elsewhere.

Win New England Shirt

Posted Feb 7th 2007, 11:25am by Reiss Malone in Tickets

Zoo Magazine is giving you the chance to win an England shirt signed by the squad. They are throwing in the new England match ball and John Terry's boots. All you have to do is answer this question. Who was the only person to score a penalty at the 2006 World Cup Finals? Clue: he plays in Germany...We would put our money on Owen Hargreaves

I would rather just wear me old one! No difference except for some gold stripes and the number being on the shoulder. I would be prepared to make england's new strip it would be 10 times better than that!

Rock Climbing

Posted Feb 7th 2007, 9:57am by Daniel Collett in Sport of the Day

Rock Climbing is the act of ascending steep rock formations. Normally, climbers use gear and safety equipment specifically designed for the purpose. Strength, endurance, and mental control are required to cope with tough, dangerous physical challenges, and knowledge of climbing techniques and the use of essential pieces of gear and equipment are crucial.
