As we receive queries from members regarding the site we will add regular ones here to help you get the most from the site as quickly as possible.

How do I join a team/club?

  1. Click on ‘Profile & Settings’ at the top of your Homepage and then click on ‘Sports, Clubs & Teams’.
  2. Type the name of the club you are looking for in the box and press ‘search’.
  3. Select the team or club you require from the search results.
  4. Go to the tool box at the top of the clubs homepage and select either follow, play for, manage or play against - depending which is relevant to you.

How do I leave/remove my name from a team or club?

  1. Find the team or club you wish to leave in the ‘My sports, clubs and stuff’ section on your Homepage.
  2. Click on the link of the team/club.
  3. Go to the tool box at the top of the club’s homepage and click on the ‘Leave this club’ icon to remove your name from this team.

Can I join multiple teams/clubs?

  1. You can join or add as many teams as you are associated with.
  2. Simply follow the instructions for joining or adding a club, for each team/club you wish to join.

Is there a limit to how many sports I can list on my Homepage?

  1. There is no limit, you can connect to as many Sports as you want.
  2. Your Homepage will receive news and forum messages for all the sports you are connected to.

How do I add / change my profile?

  1. Click on ‘Profile & Settings’ at the top of your Homepage and then click on ‘Personal information’.
  2. Add/change text information and change/upload photos on your profile page.
  3. Click on ‘Save Changes’ to add/update your profile

How do I upload pictures to my profile?

  1. Click on ‘Profile & Settings’ at the top of your Homepage and then click on ‘Personal information’
  2. Click on ‘Browse’ to view the pictures on your computer.
  3. Select the file you want to upload and click on ‘Save Changes’ to upload pictures to your profile.

How do I add a sport to my Homepage?

  1. Click on ‘View all sports’ at the top of your Homepage.
  2. Click on the letter of the alphabet that the sport begins with and then click on the sport you want to add.
  3. Click on the ‘Join this sport’ icon to add the sport to your Homepage.

How do I remove a sport from Homepage?

  1. Click on ‘View all sports’ at the top of your Homepage.
  2. Click on the letter of the alphabet that the sport begins with, then click on the sport you want to remove.
  3. Click on the ‘leave this sport’ icon to remove yourself from this sport.

How do I contact another member?

  1. Type the persons name in ‘search isporty’ box at the top of your Homepage under the isporty logo, then click ‘Go’.
  2. Click on the ‘People’ icon and then click on the picture of the member you wish to contact from the search results.
  3. Click the ‘Contact’ icon on in tool box at the top of the page.
  4. Type your message in the text box and click ‘Send’ to forward your message to them.

How do I contact one of my Buddies?

  1. Click on the picture of the Buddy you wish to contact on your Homepage.
  2. Click the ‘Contact’ icon on the tool box at the top of their homepage.
  3. Type your message in the text box and click ‘Send’ to forward your message to them.

How do I add a buddy?

  1. Find the member using the ‘search isporty’ box at the top of your homepage and then click on the picture of the member you want to add.
  2. Click on the ‘Make Members Name a buddy’ and add what relationship you have with them from the drop down list.
  3. Click the ‘Add’ icon to join them to your Buddy list.

How do I remove a buddy?

  1. Select the member from your buddy list on your Homepage.
  2. Click the picture of the member you wish to remove.
  3. Click the ‘Remove Members Name from Buddy list’ to remove them from your Buddy list.

How do I send a message to my buddies?

  1. Click on the ‘Mailbox’ at the top of your Homepage. Go to the ‘Contact My’ section and select ‘Buddies’ from the drop down list.
  2. Click on the pictures of the ‘Buddies’ you wish to contact, or alternatively select ‘All’ if you wish to contact all your buddies.
  3. Complete your message and click ‘Send’ to send this message to your Buddies.

How do I send a message to all my team mates?

  1. Click on the ‘Mailbox’ at the top of your Homepage. Go to the ‘Contact My’ section and select ‘Clubs’ from the drop down list.
  2. Click on the picture of the ‘Clubs’ to add them to your message.
  3. Complete your message and click ‘Send’ to send this message to your Club(s).

How do I reply to a message?

  1. Click on ‘Mailbox’ on your Homepage and then click on the message you wish to reply to.
  2. Click on ‘Reply’ and type your reply in the text box provided.
  3. Click ‘Send’ to send your message.

How do I create a new subject for the forum?

  1. Click on ‘Forums’ at the top of your Homepage and then click on the Forum you wish to post on.
  2. Click ‘New topic’ icon and type your message in the text box provided.
  3. Click on ‘Post Message’ when you want to add your message to the Forums.

How do I reply to a post on one of the Forums on my Homepage?

  1. Click on the Forums icon within ‘Highlights of my isporty network’ on your homepage.
  2. Click on the message you want to reply to.
  3. Click on the ‘Reply to this topic’ icon and type your message in the text box provided.
  4. Click on ‘Post Message’ when you want to add your reply to the Forum.

Can I reply/add to forums of sports that I haven’t listed on my Homepage?

  1. No, you have to join a sport before you can add/read any of the forums linked to that sport.
  2. To add a sport, click on ‘Profile & Settings’ at the top of your Homepage and then click on ‘Sports, clubs & teams’.
  3. Chose the sport from the drop down menu. Click ‘Join this sport’ to add that sport to your Homepage.

How do I create a blog?

  1. Click on ‘Blog’ at the top of your Homepage and then click on ‘Create new blog entry’.
  2. Write your entry in the text boxes provided, add any pictures in the image file box and choose which sports/clubs you wish to share your blog with.
  3. Click on ‘Submit This Entry’ to post your blog entry.

How do I search for a team/club?

  1. Type the team/clubs name in the search box at the top of your Homepage, under the isporty logo, and click ‘Go’.
  2. Select the ‘Club’ icon to see results of your search.
  3. Click the name of the club from the list of search results, to see the clubs home page.

How do I create a page for my own team?

  1. Click on ‘Profile & Settings’ at the top of your Homepage, then click on ‘Sports, clubs & teams’.
  2. Type the club name in the box and press search. If your club is already listed it will show in the search results.
  3. If the club isn’t listed, click on ‘Create it here’. Complete all the Club’s details and click ‘Save it’ to add your club.

How do I share my videos with other members?

  1. Click on ‘Upload video’ in the tool box at the top of your Homepage.
  2. Select the name of the gallery you wish to add to from the drop down list. Select the gallery and then click the browse button to select your video. Once selected, add a title for the picture and then click ‘Upload’ to add this picture.
  3. To add a new gallery, select ‘Create a new gallery’ from the drop down list. Then select the clubs and sports that you wish to share your videos with from the Sports/Clubs list and click create. Once your gallery is created, select the name of the gallery you have crated from the drop down list and then click the browse button to select your video. Once selected, add a title for the video and then click ‘Upload’ to add this video. 

 

How do I share my photos with other members?

  1. Click on ‘Upload photo’ in the tool box at the top of your Homepage.
  2. Select the name of the photo gallery you wish to add to from the drop down list. Select the gallery and then click the browse button to select your photo. Once selected, add a title for the picture and then click ‘Upload’ to add this picture.
  3. To add a new gallery, select ‘Create a new gallery’ from the drop down list. Then select the clubs and sports that you wish to share your photos with from the Sports/Clubs list and click create. Once your gallery is created, select the name of the gallery you have crated from the drop down list and then click the browse button to select your photo. Once selected, add a title for the picture and then click ‘Upload’ to add this picture. 

How do I upload pictures to other pages?

  1. Your pictures can only appear on other pages for sports and clubs that you have chosen as your sports, clubs or teams.
  2. If you wish to create a new gallery, select the clubs and sports that you wish to share your photos with from your Sports/Clubs list and click create.
  3. Once your gallery is created, select the gallery from the drop down list and then click the browse button to select your photos. Once selected, add a title the picture and then click ‘Upload’ to add this picture.

How do I receive sports news to my Homepage?

  1. Click on ‘Profile & Settings’ at the top of your Homepage and then click on ‘Sports, clubs & teams’.
  2. Type the name of the sport in the search box and click ‘Search’.
  3. Click on the link ‘Take a look at our Name of Sport page’  
  4. Click on ‘Join this sport’ and news from this sport will be added to your Homepage.

Or:

  1. Click on ‘View all sports’ at the top of your Homepage.
  2. Select the Sport from the alphabetical menu and then click on the sport you want to add.
  3. Click on the ‘Join this sport’ icon and news from this sport will be added to your Homepage.

How do I add to a page of a team I play for?

  1. Click on the team name in the ‘My clubs and stuff’ section on your Homepage.
  2. For pictures, click the ‘Upload a photo’, select gallery and then browse for pictures. Add a title and description, then click ‘Upload’ to add your picture.
  3. For video, click the ‘Upload a video, select gallery and then browse your computer for the video you wish to upload. Add a title and description, then click ‘Upload’ to add your video.
  4. For Blogs, click ‘Create a new blog entry’ and add text in the boxes provided. When complete, click ‘Submit this entry’ to upload your blog.

Can my personal email address be seen by other members?

  1. No, all correspondence on the site is sent via isporty’s internal mail and messaging system.
  2. If you send a message, your personal email address will not be visible to the recipient.

 

My favorite sport isn’t listed, how do I add it?

  1. Click on ‘View all sports’ at the top of your Homepage. Enter the name of the sport in the ‘Search’ box.
  2. If we haven't we got the sport that you were looking for, click on ‘Drop us a line and let us know’
  3. Complete the form and click ‘Submit feedback’.

How do I edit/add to a page of a team I support?

  1. Pro team pages can only be edited or administered by the pages creator or isporty staff.
  2. If you have a link or photo you wish to add to a pro team page, click on ‘Feedback’ at the bottom of your Homepage
  3. Complete the form and click ‘Submit feedback’ to send us your comments.
