Di Canio to manage West Ham?
Posted Nov 7th 2007, 3:36pm by Chris Ward

The new GQ Magazine features a fairly indepth interview with Paolo Di Canio. Obviously, the magazine says, his sole ambition now must be to manage his first love, Lazio? "or West Ham United" quotes the legend....
Imagine the job interview? I'm sure Paolo's infamous fitness regime would mean we would have far less injuries than we have now.
Good interview with a man who you either love or hate and I for one put him up there just behind Sir Trevor of England - he is far ahead of Tevez in the list of West Ham legends
So what do you think? Worth considering if we can't get out of this mid-table mediocrity situation?

Hammers injury update ..

West Ham with positive injury news? It cannot be.
Seemingly this is the case though, as Tribal Football have uncovered good news for Nigel Quashie and Calum Davenport.
Meanwhile, stricken Kieran Dyer (pictured) has revealed in Guardian Unlimited that he has received comforting words from former Newcastle team-mate and fellow new Hammers man Nolberto Solano.
What are they? "I've nicked your place in the team", maybe?

Catch up with the daily West Ham blog digest and fear not, injuries are temporary, class is permanent.
(Although you'd sometimes be forgiven for thinking things were the other way around.)
And remember to keep us updated with your latest Hammers blog stories, videos and pictures.
In need of a bit of inspiration? Well here's what Flickr users have been coming up with over the past few days.
