Friday: Scots look to 2016

With the UK’s finest failing to qualify for Euro 2008, the Scots now want to take on England in a home nations showdown next summer…
Meanwhile to ease the pain of last Saturday’s defeat to Italy, the Scots are looking into hosting the finals in 2016. A study into the feasibility of the bid is set to get under way.

France v Scotland

Euro games
Sod Russia v England, biggest game for me on Wednesday is the France v Scotland game. Who gave the Scots any hope of qualification after they were drawn in the 'group of death'? OK, so they've still some tough games to go, but the French and Italians drawing at the weekend has given the Scots a bit of a boost before taking on Les Bleu. France will be looking for revenge after Scotland's win at Hampden Park, earlier in the campaign. I'm sure it won't be pretty, but I just hope that the Tartan army is in full voice to help with the resistance against the French!
