Gillespie Says Sorry

It was a bad week for Keith Gillespie, an own goal and a fight on plane with George McCartney. Soccerway report how he's now saying sorry for his actions.
In a week that saw two own goal inspired defeats and the fight we can't help thinking that the players are trying to open an early exit door for boss Nigel Worthington.

Trio fit for crunch game

Northern Ireland's injury worries were over as star striker David Healy returned to training after a calf strain.
The record scorer was joined in the session by Keith Gillespie and Jonny Evans who had both sat out Monday's training with knocks.
Look forward to the game with The BBC.

Worthington clears the air

Northern Ireland boss Nigel Worthington admitted having crunch talks with his players following Saturday's defeat to Latvia say The Telegraph.
However, Worthington denies that there was a stand off with his players and is looking forward to tomorrow night's match with Iceland.
Record scorer David Healy remains a doubt for the crucial game after sitting out Monday's training session with a calf injury and sore foot say The Times.

Worrying news from The BBC as three Northern Ireland stars sit pout training on Monday.
David Healy, Keith Gillespie and Jonny Evans missed the session but manager Nigel Worthington expects all three to make Wednesday's crucial game with Latvia.

Evans recovers for Latvia game

Manchester United defender Jonny Evans should be fit to face Lativa in today's Euro 2008 Group F game in Riga according to The Telegraph.
A row has broken out between the Republic of Ireland FA and IFA, governing body of Northern Ireland over Man Utd's Danny Gibson, the Northern Ireland born player making his debut for the Republic today say Belfast Telegraph.
