If you're a big MTB fan but detest WH Smiths (and who doesn't?), remember you can download your copy of Singletrack World direct off the tinterweb. Follow this link for more details of how to stay in touch without straying into the wilderness of the shopping mall.
An interesting article on Bike Radar meanwhile on nutrition and how to decode the various claims made by these money-hungry supplement providers - check it out here.
And while many of us may be winding down our mountain-biking pursuits, for a good few others the winter months provide some key training opportunities for next year's events, with Easter's Cape Epic likely to test both mental and physical ability for its brave participants.
Isporty founder Chris Ward recently completed the 2007 Trans Rockies event. And seemingly undaunted by some more extreme mountain-bike endurance, follow his Cape Epic blog as he begins early preparations.
Chris will be keeping you posted as the weeks and months pass.
