Turnbull is top vet ..

British Cycling have run a nice piece on the Trek British Mountain Bike Champion Pete Turnbull. Following the story of his incredible season here.

And be sure to check out the latest issue of MBUK magazine which features Lake District trails, features on riding safe but fast, and look at the Crankworx festival. There's also one of MBUK's legendary sticker sheets.

The new issue is onsale October 24th (tomorrow).

If you'd rather stay in for the mass of sofa-based sports action, stay inspired nonetheless with all of the action from last weekend's Downhill Series Finale in Innerleithen.

Gee whizz for duo ..

Check out British Cycling's coverage of the final round of the NPS Downhill series which took place in Innerleithen on the Scottish Borders at the weekend.

Brother and sister Gee and Rachel Atherton scooped both the men's and women's series prizes.

Manchester's finest heads for Syndicate ..

Steve Peat confirms that British youngster Josh Bryceland (pictured) has joined the Santa Cruz Syndicate team.

Peat's protege has been making all the right noises this year and can only go from strength-to-strength under the downhill master.
