Birmingham City fans are still coming to terms with the fact they they’re without a manager. One blog in particular makes it opinion clear on chairman David Sullivan’s opinion that the Blues don’t lack ambition…

Meanwhile speculation continues about who will replace Steve Bruce, who’s till not actually been unveiled at Wigan yet. Will it be Alex McLeish? Chris Coleman? One thing’s for sure, it won’t be Marcello Lippi

We woz robbed

As the dust settles on the weekend’s derby defeat, one fan suggests the Blues woz robbed.

Sadly it looks as though Cameron Jerome could be out for some time following a hernia operation today, but the burly striker has urged boss Bruce to stick with Mikael Forssell in future.

Bruce almighty

Steve Bruce might be after the sympathy vote, but it’s Brum defender Liam Ridgewell we feel sorry for. Scoring an own goal and having the opposing fans sing your name, it was a derby day to forget for the Blues’ skipper.

Meanwhile boss Bruce looks likely to bolster his strike force this January, while Norwich City boss Glenn Roeder looks set to raid City for another defender….

More toys out of the pram as Krulak-gate continues! This morning we told you the Villa general had apologised for derogatory comments made about David Gold. Now, Gold insists that he’s received no apology. Here’s what Villa fans are saying….

In slightly more important news, it looks as though there could be an end to the kidnap saga that has haunted Wilson Palacios.

Wrestling pigs and apologies, just another week in the build up to a Midlands derby… Following derogative comments made by General Krulak Villa chief Randy Lerner has apologised to Blues chairman David Gold.

In slightly more important news, it looks as though there could be an end to the kidnap saga that has haunted Wilson Palacios and his family.
