Terry Venables

Began his Professional playing career at Chelsea in August 1960 and was sold to Tottenham Hotspur in May 1966. Transferred to Queen's Park Rangers in June 1969 and then on to Crystal Palace in September 1974. Retired after 14 matches and became coach. Played for England twice as a full international. He was the first player to represent his country at every level, from England School Boys to full International.

Managed Crystal Palace between 1976 and 1980. He was Queen's Park Rangers manager from 1980 to 1984. Terry then became Barcelona manager in 1984. In 1987, he came back to English football and became manager at Tottenham Hotspur, before becoming the club's chief executive in 1991. He left the club after a dispute with owner Alan Sugar in 1993.

Appointed England national team coach in 1994 and lead the team to the semi finals of Euro '96. Left the job at the end of the tournament. After spells at Portsmouth, managing Australia, Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and Leeds United, Terry has returned the England coaching staff as Steve McLaren's Assistant Manager.
